Website Guidelines

Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before registering for a course, accessing our learning platform, or using BetaSkills services.

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Welcome to BetaSkills. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, online courses, student accounts, learning materials, and related services. By using our services or registering for a course, you agree to these terms to the extent applicable to you.

01 Introduction

BetaSkills provides online education and practical skills training in areas such as web development, programming, and related technology subjects.

These terms apply to website visitors, prospective students, registered students, and anyone who accesses our learning materials or services. Additional course-specific terms may apply where clearly communicated during registration.

If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of the relevant services.

02 Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into the relevant agreement to register independently. If you are below the age required by applicable law, a parent or legal guardian may need to complete or approve your registration.

You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update it if it changes. Admission may depend on the course prerequisites and requirements communicated for that program.

03 Our Services

BetaSkills may provide online courses, recorded lessons, live online sessions, practical assignments, projects, student dashboards, learning resources, and support through designated communication channels.

The exact content, duration, schedule, features, and support arrangements may differ between courses. The course description and information provided during enrolment should be used to understand the specific program being offered.

We may improve, update, or reorganize educational content where reasonably necessary, while taking appropriate account of the course commitments communicated to enrolled students.

04 Registration & Student Accounts

When creating or using a student account, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate registration details.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential.
  • Use your own account and not share access with unauthorized people.
  • Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • Use the account only for legitimate educational purposes.

We may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify registration or payment. Account access may be restricted where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorized sharing, or a serious breach of these terms.

05 Course Fees & Payments

Course fees, payment methods, instalment arrangements, and applicable deadlines will be communicated through the relevant course page or registration process.

  • Payment verification: Where manual verification is used, submitting payment proof does not itself confirm that payment has been approved.
  • Admission: Course access or admission is subject to the applicable payment and registration requirements communicated to you.
  • Outstanding amounts: If an instalment or balance is due, you remain responsible for paying it according to the agreed arrangement.
  • Payment details: Use only the payment instructions provided through official BetaSkills channels.

Please contact us if you believe a payment has been recorded incorrectly. Any fees, taxes, or additional charges will be handled according to the information communicated at the time of registration and applicable law.

06 Course Access & Schedule

Course duration, batch start dates, class schedules, and access arrangements will be communicated for the relevant program.

Students are responsible for checking course announcements, following the communicated schedule, and maintaining suitable internet access and equipment for online learning.

Access may depend on enrolment status, payment arrangements, the relevant batch, and the availability of the particular course or platform feature.

If a schedule or session needs to change, BetaSkills will make reasonable efforts to communicate relevant updates through available student communication channels.

07 Student Conduct

Students are expected to behave respectfully and use BetaSkills services responsibly. You must not:

  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or impersonate another person.
  • Share unauthorized access to course accounts or paid materials.
  • Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to our website or systems.
  • Upload malicious files or misuse course communication tools.
  • Submit another person's work as your own or misrepresent your academic contributions.
  • Use our platform for unlawful activities or activities that violate others' rights.

We may review credible reports of misuse and take proportionate action where appropriate, including warnings, restriction of features, or suspension of access.

08 Intellectual Property & Course Materials

Unless otherwise stated, the website design, branding, course videos, written lessons, learning resources, and other materials provided by BetaSkills are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders.

Subject to these terms, students may use course materials for their own personal learning during the permitted access period.

You must not, without appropriate permission:

  • Redistribute, resell, or publicly publish paid course materials.
  • Copy or republish protected lessons as your own course.
  • Share restricted downloads or account access with unauthorized people.
  • Use BetaSkills branding in a way that falsely suggests endorsement or affiliation.

These terms do not transfer ownership of intellectual property to you. Any rights not expressly granted remain with the relevant rights holder, subject to applicable law.

09 Assignments & Projects

Practical assignments and projects are intended to help students develop and demonstrate their skills. Students are responsible for completing their own submissions unless collaboration is specifically permitted for an assignment.

You should not include passwords, private customer information, confidential employer data, or other sensitive information in project submissions.

Where students use third-party libraries, images, datasets, or code, they are responsible for following the relevant licence terms and respecting applicable intellectual property rights.

Feedback, task status, and project evaluation may be provided through the learning platform or designated communication channels.

10 Website & Platform Availability

We aim to keep our website and learning platform available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, hosting issues, internet outages, or third-party service disruptions.

Students should retain copies of their own important project files and submissions. We recommend not relying on the learning platform as the sole storage location for personal work.

11 Learning Outcomes & Employment

BetaSkills aims to provide educational resources and practical training to support skill development. Individual outcomes depend on factors such as prior experience, attendance, practice, effort, and changing industry needs.

Important: Enrolment in a course does not guarantee employment, freelance projects, income, certification, or a particular level of proficiency unless a specific written commitment expressly states otherwise.

Any examples of projects, career paths, or potential opportunities are provided for educational or illustrative purposes and should not be treated as a promise of results.

12 Cancellation, Withdrawal & Refunds

Before registering, please review any course-specific cancellation, withdrawal, transfer, and refund conditions communicated during the enrolment process.

If you wish to withdraw from a course or request a refund, contact BetaSkills with your registration details and the reason for your request. We will review the request under the applicable course terms and legal requirements.

Refund eligibility, timelines, and any permitted deductions must be determined by the policy communicated for your purchase and applicable law. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

For BetaSkills: Add your actual refund policy here before publishing—for example, the time limit for requests, treatment of partially paid courses, and whether any exceptions apply. Do not promise a refund arrangement that your business does not follow.

13 Third-Party Services

Our services may link to or rely on external platforms, including video conferencing tools, messaging applications, hosting providers, and payment services.

Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, and availability conditions. Your use of those services is subject to the terms that apply to them.

We are not responsible for independent services that we do not operate, except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

14 Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BetaSkills is not responsible for losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including interruptions to internet connectivity, third-party service outages, or a user's failure to protect their account credentials.

Educational materials are provided for learning purposes. Students are responsible for evaluating how they apply the information and code they learn in their own projects or professional work.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including any mandatory consumer protections.

15 Suspension & Termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, investigate suspected fraud, address serious misconduct, prevent unauthorized access, or comply with legal requirements.

Where appropriate and practical, we will communicate the reason for a restriction and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Any effect on fees, course access, or refunds will be handled according to the applicable course terms and law.

16 Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when our services, operational practices, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date.

Where required by law, or where a material change affects existing students, we will provide any notice or obtain any consent required by applicable law.

Continued use of the services after an update will be subject to the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.

17 Applicable Law & Disputes

These terms are subject to applicable laws. Any dispute will be addressed through good-faith communication where practical, without restricting any legal rights available to either party.

The governing law and competent forum should be specified in a manner appropriate to the legal status and operations of BetaSkills. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
